All certifications require a signed written request by the student.  Certifications include Bar forms; enrollment verifications; graduation confirmations; letters of good standing; and loan & insurance forms. These requests are not accepted via telephone or e-mail.  We will accept faxed requests with a signature at 202-662-9235.  A Request for Certification form should be submitted for certifications.  This form is also available in the Office of the Registrar at 600 New Jersey Avenue NW , 20001, Room 315. 

There is no charge for certification services and envelopes with postage are not required.  Normal processing takes 3-5 business days but may take up to 7 business days during heavy volume periods.

Inclusion of your GO card or your social-security number, daytime phone number, and delivery instruction are essential for timely processing.

Canadian Students with a "Tuition and Education Amounts Certificate for a University Outside of Canada": Please note that if you have a "Tuition and Education Amounts Certificate for a University Outside of Canada" to be completed by the Law Center, the Office of Student Accounts will be handling these forms. The Office of Student Accounts is located in Room 581, and the phone number is 202-662-9057 if you have additional questions about this form.
