Transcript Requests
Effective immediately, transcripts can only be requested in person or via mail. They cannot be requested by e-mail, fax or phone. A transcript request requires your signature authorizing our office to release the document.
Please note: Transcripts cannot be released if student’s account is delinquent.
Processing Time
1. Allow 24 hours for transcript processing from date received.
2.
Students that attended the Law Center before 1980 require 3 business days from date received to process.
Cost
The cost is five dollars for each copy which includes first-class USPS postage. The check or money order should be made payable to Georgetown University and must be drawn on a US bank account. We cannot accept payment by credit card. There is no charge for a transcript being sent directly to a State Bar. JD and LLM transcripts are separate documents. Separate transcript charges will apply.
If you need next-day delivery, please provide a credit card number
