Resident's Handbook ruler

Welcome from the Gewirz Student Center

Dear Residents:

Welcome to the Gewirz Student Center. I am pleased that you have decided to make this your home during the academic year. Our entire staff will strive to make your stay a pleasurable and memorable experience.

Living in the Gewirz Center will provide you with many opportunities. You will be across the street from McDonough Hall, the administrative and classroom building of the Law Center, and the Edward Bennett Williams Law Library. You will also be able to enjoy the benefits of living in the Capitol Hill area of Washington, DC. We hope that you will become involved in the Law Center's activities and offer suggestions for improving the community so that it will be an even better place to live.

In preparing this Handbook we have tried to anticipate your questions about living in the Gewirz Student Center. If we have overlooked something, please call or write to us. Our goal is to make residential living at Georgetown University Law Center as comfortable as possible.

Please do not hesitate to call on our staff to assist you with anything you need. We are here to help.

    Sincerely,

    Katherine Hall
Director of Student Affairs & Residence Life
