Cable Television
Each bedroom in each apartment is connected for Cable TV access. Each
resident is responsible for providing the TV and the appropriate coax
cable. Please refer to the Channel Line-Up provided in the move-in
packet for channel selections. The cost for the Cable TV is included
in the $270.00 Internet/Telephone/TV fee, which is charged to the
student account each semester. Please contact the Office of Residence

for any Cable TV service.
Internet Access
Each bedroom in each apartment is equipped with a live Internet connection
for your computer and/or laptop. In order to take advantage of these
connections, you will need to have a network card and cable. Xircom
RealPort Ethernet 10/100 cards and the accompanying UTP Patch Cables
will be on sale in the Georgetown University Law Center Bookstore. The
IST Department will have technicians on-site to help you install them
during Orientation. The cost for the Internet connection is included
in the $270.00 Internet/Telephone/TV fee, which is charged to the student

Law Library Websites
The Edward Bennett Williams Law Library homepage, from whence you can
access all of the Library's electronic
resources and the Law Library On-Line
Catalog. You may also access Westlaw
and Lexis on-line research
services. You can obtain your passwords for these resources by contacting
the Library Reference Desk at 202-662-9140 or libref@law.georgetown.edu.
Public Computers
The Law Center offers more than 120 public computers for student use.
The Student Computer Lab is located on the 3rd Floor of the Law Library.
This site contains 36 IBM-compatible PCs that have the latest Microsoft
Office Suite, Corel WordPerfect, and Internet Browsers to facilitate
research, web browsing, and email access. Each PC in the Student Computer
Lab has access to a laser printer. Printing costs 10¢ per page.
Unused pages cannot be carried over into the next month. Many other
public computers throughout the library are available for web browsing
and email access. There are 16 computers on the 3rd floor of McDonough
Hall and 2 PCs in the 3rd Floor Lounge of the Gewirz Building. These
PCs have Internet access to facilitate web browsing and email access.
The computers located in Gewirz are only for the residents' use. There
are no printers available on the 3rd floor of McDonough Hall or in
the 3rd Floor Lounge in Gewirz.
