Cable Television
Each bedroom in each apartment is connected for Cable TV access. Each
resident is responsible for providing the TV and the appropriate coax
cable. Please refer to the Channel Line-Up provided in the move-in
packet for channel selections. Please contact the Office of Residence
Life at 202-662-9290 or housing@law.georgetown.edu
for any Cable TV service.
Internet Access
There is wireless Internet access throughout the Gewirz Student Center. To connect to the Law Center's wireless network, you will need a WiFi-certified (802.11b/g/n) wireless adapter. The IST Department has found that CISCO cards work best with the Law Center's wireless netowrk. Mac users with AirPort adapaters on their laptops should also be able to connect. In addition, each bedroom in each apartment is equipped with a live Internet connection for your computer. You will need an Ethernet adapter and cable to use the Internet jacks. Most new computers already have built-in Ethernet adapters. However, if your machine does not, the Law Center Bookstore has a selection of adapters and cables. Technicians at the Technology Reference Desk (Room 304 in the Law Library) can help you install the adapters. Please contact the Office of Residence Life at
