General Information

Enjoy a festive evening inclduing a dinner buffet, beer & wine bar, and dancing with your fellow graduates and their guests at the Donald W. Reynold Center for American Art and Portraiture in the Robert and Arlene Kogod Courtyard. The first two floors of the gallery, including the Presidential Portrait Gallery, will remain open for viewing by Gala attendees.

Attire for the Gala is Semi-formal, Black Tie optional. Most gentlemen wear suits or tuxedos, most ladies wear cocktail or evening dresses.

Reservations will be taken for Gala attendance beginning March 12, 2012.

Transportation and Directions

The museums are conveniently located above the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metrorail station, which is serviced by the Red, Yellow and Green lines. Metro hours, fare information and maps are available at www.wmata.com. When exiting the Metro please take the Arena exit at 7th and F streets.

The DC circulator also serves the museums' Penn Quarter neighborhood. Hours, fare information and maps are available at www.dccirculator.com.

There is also a limited number of parking lots and ramps in the vicinity of the museum.

Accessibility and Entrance

Barrier-free access is available at the G Street entrance. All areas of the msueum are served by elevators.
