Volunteer for any of our projects or to be a 1L Section Leader! Section Leaders plan projects and promote Outreach events to their sections. If you're interested in joining our mailing list or becoming a 1L Section Leader, please email us.
Ways You Can Help the DC Community
If you want to do volunteer work, but your schedule doesn't fit with the events Outreach has planned, please feel free to contact any of these organizations yourself. They all have programs for people interested in volunteering!

SOME helps break the cycle of homelessness by offering services, such as affordable housing, job training, addiction treatment, and counseling, to the poor, the elderly and individuals with mental illness.
Provides middle school children from underserved areas year-round academic enrichment programs and preparation for top high school placement.
Enhances the National Arboretum, a living museum with trees, shrubs and plants cultivated for scientific and educational purposes.
A faith-based, non-profit organization with a mission to help people who are low-income and homeless achieve personal growth social and economic self-sufficiency and independence through a web of integrated care, regardless of their faith.
Provides a home away from home to families of seriously ill children being treated in DC area hospitals.
