The Law Center supports alternative means of transportation and knows that parking will always be a challenge on Capitol Hill. METROThe metro is the primary option for our community and we encourage its use. The Law Center is located near two stations: Judiciary Square and Union Station. We participate in both the metrochek and smartrip programs. The smartrip card also covers your parking fees at Metro lots. For employees, we have pretax incentives that will reduce your overall transportation costs. Metro use is encouraged with the Union Station Shuttle service providing free rides from the Law Center to Union Station from 5:00 PM until 12:00AM every night. Additional information including maps, bus routes, and other information is available through their web site at www.wmata.com . BIKINGBike transportation is another good alternative given our climate and location. Bikes may be registered with DPS who can provide access to bike storage areas in the garage. There is no charge for the use of these areas. The District of Columbia has an active bike commuter community. For additional information, see the website at www.waba.org . GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY TRANSPORTATION SERVICE (GUTS)The University offers a shuttle service from the Law Center to Main Campus. There are additional routes that service the Dupont Circle , Georgetown , and Arlington areas. See all the details at their website http://otm.georgetown.edu/guts/. For only the Law Center service, see the including the new stops on Massachussetts Ave, see the service schedule. CARPOOLSIf you are interested in carpooling, please register at the University's Office of Transportation Management website http://otm.georgetown.edu When you enter the carpool database, do note that you are interested in Law Center carpooling. The University has other transportation
programs that may be useful to you. For more information about
