LAWA Experience:

Ms. Ngamphalala completed her graduate paper, “Domestic Violence: An International Human Rights Issue in Swaziland,” in 2005 and worked for the Children’s Defense Fund for her fellowship internship.

Other Work Experience:

In 1996, Ms. Ngamphalala became involved with The Swaziland Action Group Against Abuse (SWAGAA), first as a volunteer counselor for women survivors of violence and then in 1999 as full time legal counselor. She initiated and established the legal counseling unit within the SWAGAA organization, which provides legal aid services.

In 2002, Ms. Ngamphalala joined a private legal practice, specializing in litigation of  family law cases and the legal enforcement of women's rights in all spheres.
