Profile:
Sarah spent her Fellowship year with the National Women's Law Center. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Macalester College in 1985 and her Masters Degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge in 1986. After 3 years working on Capitol Hill as a member of Senators Spark Matsunaga and Tim Wirth's staffs, Sarah enrolled at Georgetown University Law Center, where she earned her JD in 1992. After her Fellowship, Sarah became a Senior Policy Advisor for the Centre for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA) until 1997, when she joined the State Department's Population Office as a Senior Advisor. In 1998, Sarah began at the UN Population Fund as a Special Advisor to the Executive Director. She is now the Chief of the Washington Office.
