Profile:

Jill C. Morrison joined the Health and Reproductive Rights group of the National Women's Law Center in September 1998 as a WLPP Fellow, and has been there every since. Her focus is on religious restrictions on reproductive health services. She authored Don't Take “No” for an Answer: A Guide to Pharmacy Refusal Laws, Policies and Practices, several other publications on how to use the law to preserve access to health care.  Ms. Morrison has provided assistance to communities challenging transactions that would reduce or eliminate reproductive health services.  She has spoken to the media, community activists, medical professionals and state officials throughout the nation on the threat of religious restrictions on reproductive health care.

She is a native of New Jersey and a graduate of Rutgers University and Yale Law School.  She clerked for Judge Sterling Johnson, Jr. of the Eastern District of New York. Jill is also a doting aunt who loves spectator sports, documentaries and traveling.
