Profile:
Before law school, Janet worked at a civic education program in Washington, D.C. and volunteered at various women's advocacy organizations. Her legal career has included a federal clerkship; practicing employment law and business and appellate litigation at law firms in D.C. and Seattle; and teaching at Seattle University School of Law.
Janet spent her Fellowship year with the National Partnership for Women and Families. She was appointed to serve on the Washington State Bar Association’s Legislative Committee in October 2006. The legislative committee reviews proposals from WSBA sections and committees for state and federal legislation that relates to the improvement of justice and makes recommendations to the Board of Governors. She currently works as Legal and Legislative Counsel at the organizations Legal Voice in Seattle. Legal Voice
