Profile:

Lisa spent her Fellowship year with the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights & Urban Affairs is currently an attorney in the Solicitor's Office at the Department of Labor.  During her Fellowship, Lisa worked on several important cases with the Committee's Disability Rights Project, including cases that would improve accessibility and treatment conditions for disabled patients during hospitalizations. She also worked with the Committee's Equal Employment Opportunity Project, where she worked on several sexual discrimination and harassment cases, including a groundbreaking case challenging religious immunity under sexual harassment laws. After her Fellowship, she worked with the National Association of Attorneys General before joining the Office of the Solicitor.  As a resident of NE just outside the historic district, she is interested in the Beyond the Boundaries efforts.  She is the Secretary of the Capitol Hill Restoration Society (CHRS) and a member of the Stanton Park Neighborhood Association, and she participated in the development of the CHRS House and Garden tour brochure in 2008 and 2009.
