Tracy was placed at the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) for her Fellowship year. Prior to joining WLPPFP, she completed a clerkship on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit after she earned her law degree cum laude from the University of Michigan School of Law in 1998 and her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Florida State University. While a law student at Michigan, Tracy was Associate Editor of the Michigan Journal of Gender and the Law, chair of the Moot Court Executive Board, and the recipient of the Michigan Association of Women Lawyers’ Award. She also spent five months in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she worked in the Gender Project through the Centre for Applied Legal Studies. Prior to her clerkship, Tracy was associate coordinator for the Public Interest Law Center at NYU. She also was an adjunct professor at NYU’s School of Education where she taught debate.
