Workplace Flexibility 2010 is a campaign to support the development of a comprehensive national policy on workplace flexibility. By the year 2010, we hope to have helped develop consensus-based policy solutions that work for business and families.
On Wednesday, May 13, Workplace Flexibility 2010 released a comprehensive set of policy solutions to expand Americans’ access to flexible work arrangements such as compressed workweeks, predictable schedules, and telecommuting. On Wednesday, July 8, 2009, Workplace Flexibility 2010 and the New America Foundation will present a briefing titled “Flexible Work Arrangements and Low-Wage Work.” Panelists will “present the latest research on scheduling challenges faced by low-wage workers, highlight common sense solutions that have been implemented by businesses and discuss how public policy can enhance access to FWAs for low-wage workers.” David Gray - Director of the Workforce and Family Program at the New America Foundation - will moderate the panel:
