Meet the Team

Event Management

Chris brings over 25 years of event planning experience to her role as Director. Originally from Cleveland, she moved to the DMV in the late 80’s after beginning her career in events with a Cleveland department store, and over the years honed her event planning and management skills with Long & Foster Realtors, Children’s National Medical Center and others.

Chris began her career at Georgetown Law in the Advancement office over 10 years ago, and moved into her current role in 2015, getting her back to her professional passion!

She’s the proud mom of two young adult daughters, can find an appropriate Harry Potter quote for almost any situation and obsesses every spring over the eagle cam at the National Arboretum, watching the eaglets and educating her colleagues about all things related to bald eagles!

He prides himself in being calm, cool, and collected during the stress of planning events.

Wilhelm has over a decade of experience in event planning in higher education and nonprofits. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, he moved to the states and soon found himself involved in the world of events. He has a passion for events that bring about connection and opportunities to learn from one another.

He has been an event planner at UC Santa Cruz, Harvard University, and the International OCD Foundation. He moved to DC in 2021 and started at Georgetown in October 2022. When not at work, he is pursuing his interest in meditation, theology, sci-fi/fantasy, and of course, board games. He is also terrible at trivia.

Event Management

Originally from Cleveland, Claire graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in International Studies and Spanish. After graduation she lived in New York City doing a year of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps where she worked as a case manager in the Bronx.

Claire moved to D.C. in 2018 to work as a volunteer manager at Catholic Charities, the largest social service nonprofit in the DMV area. She started at Georgetown Law in 2021 as one of the Event Coordinators.

Claire is an avid lover of all things Cleveland, travel, and Lord of the Rings.

Originally from Princeton, NJ, Catie graduated from Oberlin College with a B.A. in Art History and a concentration in Education Studies. After graduating from Oberlin, Catie worked briefly as an educator in Baltimore and Princeton. After the conclusion of her sale at Christie’s, Catie joined the Events team at Georgetown in December of 2022. She is excited to join the Georgetown Law community and pivot back towards working in higher education.

Catie is an art enthusiast, cat mom, and above all else, a Jersey girl at heart (she refuses to pump her own gas and loves going “down the shore”).
