LL.M. students who wish to further specialize may pursue a Certificate along with their LL.M. degree. Georgetown Law offers certificates in Employee Benefits, Estate Planning, Food & Drug Law, International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, International Human Rights Law, International Taxation, Refugees and Humanitarian Emergencies, State and Local Taxation, U.S. Health Law, and WTO Law. Students may earn only one Certificate during their LL.M. studies.
The Certificates in Employee Benefits, Estate Planning, International Taxation, and State & Local Taxation may be completed as stand-alone certificate programs. Please check the individual certificate's web page for specific requirements.
