Juris Doctor Degree Program Honors<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Summa Cum Laude<\/h4>\n

(Granted at the sole discretion of the faculty) – Number awarded: 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Magna Cum Laude; Top 10%<\/h4>\n

(Based upon the cumulative grade-point average) – 3.75<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cum Laude; Top Third<\/h4>\n

(Based upon the cumulative grade-point average) – 3.57<\/strong><\/p>\n

Order of the Coif<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Graduating students whose cumulative grade point averages place them in the top 10% of the class are elected to membership in the Order of the Coif.\u00a0 To be eligible, a graduate must have completed at least 64 graded academic credits at the Law Center (effective beginning in the 2013-2014 academic year, credits earned at a transfer student’s previous law school are counted toward this minimum credit requirement).<\/p>\n
