\"Profile<\/p>\n

Andrea Rodr\u00edguez Escobedo serves as the Director of International Programs at Georgetown Law. Andrea oversees the International Business & Economic Law\u00a0 and International Legal Studies LL.M. degree programs, and is the main advisor for foreign-trained students at Georgetown Law interested in qualifying for a U.S. bar exam.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrea joined Georgetown Law after years of practice in the public and private sectors. She started her legal career as a law clerk for Honorable Justice Arturo Zald\u00edvar Lelo de Larrea<\/span>\u00a0of the Mexican Supreme Court. She then worked as an associate in the dispute <\/span>resolution group at Baker McKenzie Mexico. Andrea also represented Sovereign States in investment arbitration matters while working at Arnold & Porter in Washington, DC.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrea is passionate about sports and is also a former member of the Mexican National <\/span>Rugby Team. She has multicultural experience and has studied in Mexico, France and the United States. She speaks Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrea is licensed to practice law in Mexico and New York.<\/p>\n

Andrea obtained her J.D. from Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n y Docencia Econ\u00f3micas (CIDE) and her <\/span>LL.M. from Columbia Law School.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
