Course offerings for the coming academic year are not available until August prior to the start of the semester. However, past course offerings and enrollment guidance<\/a> are available for reference. Course offerings for the fall are likely to be similar to previous years. All course selections must be approved by the Office of Transnational Programs<\/span>(This link opens in a new tab)<\/span><\/span><\/a>. Participants should not expect to receive credit for courses that are not expressly approved by OTP.<\/p>\n Students typically register for 24-30 HKU credits. Credits earned at HKU are calculated with reference to the ABA\u2019s standard class formula (12.5 hours of class time, plus 30 hours of out of class preparation and studying, per one credit hour.) Students may be asked to verify the number of minutes each course meets in order to confirm the number of credits that the student will receive upon completion of their semester abroad program. See the Study Abroad Policy<\/a> for details. Courses at HKU are graded on a A-F scale.<\/p>\n HKU offers on campus housing<\/a> as well as advice regarding off campus housing. Details are provided to admitted students.
