Students will select courses from within the faculty of law. General course information is available in the course handbook<\/a>. Students at Melbourne typically enroll in a course, or “subject” load of 37.5-50 “points.” All course selections must be approved by the Office of Transnational Programs, participants should not expect to receive credit for courses that are not expressly approved by OTP.<\/p>\n Credits earned at Melbourne are calculated with reference to the ABA\u2019s standard class formula (12.5 hours of class time, plus 30 hours of out of class preparation and studying, per one credit hour.) Students may be asked to verify the number of hours each course meets in order to confirm the number of credits that the student will receive upon completion of their semester abroad program.
