{"id":3766,"date":"2020-10-01T09:44:46","date_gmt":"2020-10-01T13:44:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/?page_id=123622"},"modified":"2025-09-30T03:30:52","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T03:30:52","slug":"computer-reimbursement","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/admissions-aid\/financial-aid\/managing-your-financial-aid\/budget-adjustment\/computer-reimbursement\/","title":{"rendered":"Computer Reimbursement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A request for a computer reimbursement can be made <strong>one time<\/strong> during your enrollment at Georgetown Law and <strong>must be submitted<\/strong> during the academic year with which you purchased it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>*For incoming students ONLY<\/strong>, a computer can be purchased as early as August 1st prior to the start of your first academic school year.<\/p>\n<p>The Computer <strong><u>MUST<\/u><\/strong><strong> be purchased in FULL (not financed) by the student<\/strong> submitting the request which will show on the receipt. A clear scanned copy of the original store receipt or online store receipt must accompany the request and<strong>\u00a0show proof of payment and payment type<\/strong> (please check that your receipt shows this information). \u00a0Receipts must show this information. Order confirmations, bills or invoices <strong><u>ARE NOT<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0sufficient forms of documentation and <strong>WILL NOT<\/strong> be accepted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Approved reimbursable computer expenses includes:<\/strong> one (1) desktop computer (with corresponding peripherals) <strong>or<\/strong> one (1) laptop computer (with corresponding items) plus tax.
