The requested housing adjustment amount may not exceed 150% of the budgeted per month amount for the lease beginning and end dates and will only be increased by the difference.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If utilities are included within a student&#8217;s lease agreement, the budgeted utilities allowance (see budget) will be deducted from your rental increase.<\/li>\n<li>If a student lives with a partner or roommates and housing contributions are not split equally or a guarantor is listed on the lease as a co-signer, please explain this in detail in the additional information section of the form. Specify the circumstances surrounding your living arrangements <strong>and<\/strong> attach copies of the two most recent rent receipts of <strong>ALL adult occupants<\/strong> (or other proof of payment). Otherwise, it will be assumed that housing costs are <strong>shared equally<\/strong> by those listed on the lease agreement as they too are financially responsible for payment. Please note that a single student assuming 100% responsibility for all occupants, <strong>WILL NOT<\/strong> be considered.<\/li>\n<li>Housing charges such as pet rent, parking, storage, amenities, HOA\/Condo fees or security deposits are <strong>NOT<\/strong> eligible for adjustment.<\/li>\n<li>Requests for more than one residence <strong>WILL NOT<\/strong> be considered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Documentation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Rental property:<\/strong> Requests must be accompanied by the <strong>complete AND current<\/strong> copy of the requester&#8217;s lease agreement (attachments such as pet or lead addenda are not needed) <strong>signed AND dated by ALL parties (lessor and lessee)<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>If the student resides with other adult occupants, copies of your two most recent rental receipts from <strong>EACH<\/strong> occupant <strong>MUST<\/strong> accompany the request.<\/li>\n<li>If your lease agreement has ended and you are currently doing month-to-month, please submit the month-to-month addendum. If an addendum is not available, you <strong>MUST<\/strong> submit your lease agreement along with your two most recent rent receipts or proof of payment.<\/li>\n<li>Guarantors <strong>MUST<\/strong> be listed on the rental agreement as the guarantor or co-signer.
