Loan Adjustment Request is now closed for the 25-26 school year.
\n<\/strong>
\nFall semester requests received after August 1st and Spring semester requests received after December 1st may be processed AFTER<\/strong> the Add\/Drop period for the upcoming semester.<\/p>\n

*Notes regarding increases to your Federal loans:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Department of Education assess fees to originate (create) ALL<\/strong>\u00a0federal loans. The Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan has a current\u00a0origination fee of\u00a0<\/strong>1.057%<\/strong>\u00a0and the Federal Direct Graduate PLUS (GradPLUS) Loan has a current\u00a0origination fee of\u00a0<\/strong>4.228%<\/strong>. The amount that is originated on your behalf will be processed to\u00a0include these fees<\/strong>. The amount that you will see on your financial aid award in GU Experience<\/span>(This link opens in a new tab)<\/span><\/span><\/a> will be higher by the amount of these fees. The amount that will post to your student account and is refunded to you, will be lower<\/strong> by the amount of these origination fees or the direct amount that you specify.<\/p>\n
