Post-Award and Stewardship
Following receipt of the award letter, please review the funder guidelines and record the report submission deadlines. Report preparation and submissions are the responsibility of the submitting Principal Investigator, Faculty Director, Executive Director or Program Director at the Center, Institute, program or clinic. Financial reports are submitted by the Sponsored Projects Accounting Office. If the the report guidance from the funder contains financial reporting sections, please contact the Law Center Office of Financial Affairs.
Please pay close attention to the method of submission in the guidelines, as many funders require mailed submissions or uploaded submissions onto their database. Thus, the method of submission must be taken into account in order to meet the funder’s deadline. If you have questions about the best practices for your post award and stewardship process, the Law Center Corporate and Foundation Relations office will provide assistance and guidance upon your request.
