Abrar Omeish is a dual Masters of Public Policy/JD student and Blume fellow at the law school. She currently serves as a School Board Member t-Large in Fairfax County, overseeing $3 billion dollar budget for 1.2 million constituents. Before coming to Georgetown, Abrar was a legal fellow at a human rights and immigration law firm in Northern Virginia and has been a spokeswoman for the #NoMuslimBanEver campaign. She co-founded an organization that continues to provide thousands of underprivileged youth with free tutoring and mentorship in twenty locations over the past ten years. Abrar holds a double bachelors with honors from Yale University and looks forward to utilizing the law and politics to set a new standard for public service.
