Got mindfulness and meditation?
Georgetown Law supports the health and well-being of its community with a variety of programs throughout the year. From weekly meditation classes to the semester-long Lawyers In Balance program to the annual Dean's Challenge, a number of opportunities are available for students, faculty, and staff to assess and improve their work-life balance. At the on-campus Sport & Fitness Center, members have access to a lap pool, racquetball courts, a multi-purpose court for basketball and volleyball, and a fitness area with cardiovascular and strength training equipment, as well as a variety of small group training and exercise classes, including yoga and spinning. Everyone in the community is encouraged to stop by McDonough 167 and visit the Center for Wellness Promotion, where staff can provide information and resources about Georgetown wellness activities, student health insurance, and other wellness issues.
