Georgetown Law is Closed
Closed - all classes and scheduled events are cancelled for THURSDAY, MARCH 5, 2015. Designated emergency personnel must report to work on time. Instructional Continuity is in place for the faculty members that wish to exercise it.
Effective immediately, transcripts can only be requested in person, by fax, via mail or by email at email@example.com. The Office of the Registrar does not provide electronic copies of transcripts. Email requests must include an original signature. Transcripts cannot be requested by phone. A transcript request requires your signature authorizing our office to release the document.
Please note: Transcripts cannot be released if student’s account is delinquent.
Please allow 24 hours for transcript processing from date received
Students that attended the Law Center before 1980 require 3 business days from date received to process.
Transcripts ordered by 4pm will be ready after 1pm the following business day.
The cost is five dollars for each copy which includes first-class USPS postage. The check or money order should be made payable to Georgetown University and must be drawn on a US bank account. We cannot accept payment by credit card. If requests are submitted by fax payment can be mailed separately. Our office will not delay the request while waiting for payment. There is no charge for a transcript being sent directly to a State Bar. JD and LLM transcripts are separate documents. Separate transcript charges will apply.
If you need next-day delivery, please provide a credit card number (including the expiration date and the type of card it is) or a Federal Express account number with your request. Your account will be charged by the shipper, not Georgetown. Please note that you cannot charge the cost of the transcript to your credit card account.
