In \u201cA Conversation with Two Supreme Court Justices: The Role of The Mexican Supreme Court in Mexico\u2019s Democracy\u201d Justices Alfredo Guti\u00e9rrez Ortiz Mena and Eduardo Medina-Mora Icaza were invited to Georgetown Law to discuss the factors driving the Supreme Court\u2019s evolving jurisprudence and increasing role in Mexico\u2019s democracy, as well as the challenges the Court is facing in the current political context.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion was chaired by Alicia Ely Yamin, Visiting Professor of Law at Georgetown Law and Senior Advisor at the O\u2019Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law.
