Thank you for joining us for the convening! If you have questions about the event, please check below, and feel free to email us (lucia.mock@georgetown.edu) if you have additional questions.

Where will the convening be located?

The convening will be hosted at Georgetown University Law Center (600 New Jersey Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001). Please check the main event page for our interactive map.

What are the COVID protocols?

Georgetown University’s COVID testing and vaccination protocols will be dropped in May 2023, so we will not be requiring participants to attest to their vaccination status. We encourage participants to mask, but this is optional.

Is there a convening hotel?

We have reached capacity for our hotel room block arrangement with the Hyatt Regency. There are several hotels nearby that may still have vacancies (the Yotel Washington DC, Kimpton George Hotel, Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill, Phoenix Park Hotel).

Will transportation be provided?

No, participants will be responsible for arranging their own travel to the hotel and conference site. The Hyatt Regency is a block away from Georgetown Law Center.

Will food be served during the convening?

We will provide breakfast and lunch for both convening days (June 1 & 2) as well as coffee and snacks throughout both days. There will also be a reception on the evening of June 1, with hors d’oeuvres and drinks.

Is there a registration fee?

No, this event is free of charge for participants.

Is there a virtual option to attend?

No, this convening will only be held in person.

What if I need accommodations to attend and fully participate in the convening?

A good-faith effort will be made to ensure that all participants’ needs and accommodations are met. Please email Lucia Mock Muñoz de Luna (lucia.mock@georgetown.edu) if you have any requests for accommodations.

Who can I contact for any media inquiries?

For all media inquiries, please contact Joshua Manson from NYU’s Policing Project at jkm8339@nyu.edu.
