CLMs are reinforcement trainings designed to strengthen and refresh ABLE core principles through engaging formats such as scenarios, case studies, videos, or a standard two-hour refresher. Agencies may incorporate CLMs into roll call or in-service training, providing personnel with flexible, ongoing opportunities to reinforce active bystandership and key core curriculum concepts. For additional guidance on implementing this year’s CLM, please review the information in the accompanying Implementation and Facilitator guide.

The Continuous Learning Modules are designed to be taught through live instruction. Class size is flexible, although the preferred size is no more than 25-30 students. As a reminder, instructors do not need to be re-certified to teach the CLMs; any instructor that has successfully completed the ABLE Train-the-Trainer may teach the CLM training. If there are any questions on any of the material, please do not hesitate to reach out to the ABLE team for guidance or assistance.

Before transitioning to the CLM training, agencies must have first completed all four existing refresher trainings.
