This conference will take place from <\/span><b>Thursday, March 19th to Friday, March 20th, 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> at the Georgetown University Law Center.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This call is open to <\/span><b>aspiring academics or junior scholars<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> who have been in a tenure-track position (or its equivalent) <strong>for no more than 10 years. <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0The paper should be focused on issues at the intersection of legal philosophy and constitutional theory. Selected scholars will receive:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>dedicated commentary<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from a senior scholar in their field;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">travel expenses for the conference; and<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a <\/span><b>$1,500 honorarium.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Interested scholars should submit the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">detailed proposal of at least 2,000 words outlining the planned article, though complete draft articles are also welcome; and<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a CV.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Draft papers will be due by February 19th, 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
