The Georgetown Center for the Constitution is thrilled to announce the appointment of Emily\u00a0Hardman, J.D., as its new Executive Director. She will lead the Center\u2019s many initiatives, bringing a wealth of experience and a vibrant vision to the role.<\/span><\/p>\n Emily Hardman joins us with an impressive background in constitutional law. Her career highlights include:<\/span><\/p>\n An accomplished legal mind, Emily is also an adjunct law professor, teaching the course “<\/span>Litigating in the Court of Public Opinion,<\/span><\/i>” where she successfully mentors and inspires future legal professionals. She is a member of the United States Supreme Court bar.<\/span><\/p>\n Her work has been featured in numerous national media outlets, including The New York Times, Good Morning America, CNN, MSNBC, National Law Journal, The Washington Post, USA Today, and The Huffington Post.<\/span><\/p>\n Georgetown Center for the Constitution Faculty Director, <\/span>Randy Barnett<\/b>, the Patrick Hotung Professor of Constitutional Law, shared his enthusiasm for Emily’s arrival:<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe are thrilled to have Emily join the team,\u201d <\/span>said Professor Barnett.<\/b> \u201cWith her 20 years of experience dealing with constitutional law projects and her extensive background in management, she is uniquely equipped to oversee our expanding programs and lead the Center into its next phase.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Stephanie Barclay<\/b>, Faculty Co-Director of the Center, highlighted the collaborative spirit Emily brings:<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI am delighted to have Emily on the team,\u201d <\/span>said Professor Barclay.<\/b> \u201cHer energy and vision are exactly what we need to take our programming to the next level and continue to engage with critical constitutional questions.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Emily herself is eager to dive in and contribute to the Center’s mission:<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI am truly honored to join the Georgetown Center for the Constitution, a place with an unparalleled reputation for scholarship and impact,\u201d <\/span>said Emily Hardman. <\/b>\u201cI’m grateful for the opportunity to work alongside professors Barnett and Barclay, and I look forward to helping amplify the Center\u2019s mission to train the next generation of constitutional thinkers and leaders.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Please join us in extending a warm Georgetown welcome to Emily Hardman!
