Payment must be made by credit card (AmEx, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa). <em><strong>NOTE: Transcripts will not be released to students with account holds or blocks.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Official Transcripts to State Bars:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Students requesting an official transcript, which will be sent to a state bar, must complete, sign, and submit a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/ctls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/33\/2017\/11\/CTLS-Student-Transcript-Request-Form.pdf\">CTLS Transcript Request Form<\/a> to Georgetown:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"mailto:lawreg@georgetown.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"cx_external_link\"><span class=\"cx_external_hyperlink\">by email<\/span><span class=\"visually_hide\">(This link opens in a new tab)<\/span><span class=\"cx_external_icon\"><\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li>by mail to:<br \/>\nGeorgetown University Law Center<br \/>\nOffice of the Registrar<br \/>\nHotung Building, Suite 4101<br \/>\n600 New Jersey Avenue, NW<br \/>\nWashington, DC 20001<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is no charge for official transcripts which will be sent to state bars.<\/p>\n<h2>Official Transcripts to Third Party (Other Than a State Bar):<\/h2>\n<p>Students requesting an official transcript, for themselves to be submitted to a third party other than a state bar, must submit that request online via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.parchment.com\/u\/registration\/80340256\/account\">Parchment<\/a>. You will need to create an account with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.parchment.com\/u\/registration\/80340256\/account\">Parchment<\/a> to place your order. You may use your account to track the status of your transcript and to upload any documentation that must accompany your transcript.<\/p>\n<p>For instructions on creating a Parchment Account and Ordering a Transcript, please review the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2026\/03\/Learner-Quick-Start-Guide-TS-HE-.pdf\">Parchment Quick Start Guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fees for Issuance of Transcripts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Electronic transcripts are available free of charge through\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.parchment.com\/u\/registration\/80340256\/account\">Parchment<\/a>. As of March 18, 2026, the following fees apply to paper transcript requests:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>USPS Domestic Delivery: $15<\/li>\n<li>USPS International Delivery: $30<\/li>\n<li>FedEx Domestic Delivery: $47<\/li>\n<li>FedEx International Delivery: $88<\/li>\n<li>All fees must be paid through Parchment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Official Transcript Processing Time:<\/h3>\n<p>Transcripts take 1-2 business days to process.<\/p>\n<h3>Unofficial Transcripts<\/h3>\n<p>The Office of the Registrar or CTLS do not provide electronic copies of transcripts.
