Creating experiences that enrich students’ educational journey, engage them in the center’s work, and prepare graduates for lifelong contributions is a key element of the center’s mission and work.
The Denny Center will offer a wide variety of ways for students to get involved, from drop-in lectures and panel discussions to more formal seminar classes, fellowships and externships.
Details on student applications for additional in-depth involvement will be available during the 2020-21 school year. Interested students can sign up to our mailing list, and the center will email updates as opportunities and applications become available.
Summer Research Assistant
The Denny Center for Democratic Capitalism is seeking one research assistant to work for 10-12 hours per week for the summer. Research assistants conduct research for the Denny Center-related faculty and staff, assist in administrative tasks, and also execute various campus-based activities. Hours are somewhat flexible (within the normal work week) but the research assistant must work a two hour block or more for each day worked. Applicants must have strong research skills, including ability to use traditional print sources, Westlaw, Lexis, and other electronic databases; prior experience using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is a plus.
Interested students should submit a resume and cover letter via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
