Decoding Defund the Police, From Slogan to Strategy, The purpose of this event is to bring together legal practitioners, academics, and activists to discuss the actual goals of the Defund the Police movement, beyond the media coverage, and how this can, or cannot, be translated into actionable law and policy. The audience will primarily be law students who have an interest in criminal justice reform and other forms of public interest students, although depending on interest we may open the event to the public.
