As its name indicates, the clinic involves Georgetown Law students in a concentrated, <em>immersive<\/em> experience. Read our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/experiential-learning\/clinics\/our-clinics\/appellate-courts-immersion-clinic\/our-litigation-2\/\"><b>appellate briefs<\/b><\/a>, and meet our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/experiential-learning\/clinics\/our-clinics\/appellate-courts-immersion-clinic\/faculty-staff-4\/\"><b>staff<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our practice is nationwide in scope. We handle appeals in the federal circuits from coast to coast and in the Supreme Court of the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Clinic students are enrolled full-time for an entire semester litigating actual appeals under the supervision of the clinic\u2019s director and litigation fellows. Clinic students also take a co-requisite course on the law of the appellate courts taught by the clinic director.<\/p>\n<p>Students are required to work not only on their \u201cown\u201d cases, but to collaborate intensively on their classmates\u2019 cases.
