Externship Program from their course schedule without penalty at any time before the Add\/Drop deadline (or summer session registration deadline).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>After Add\/Drop, (or the summer session registration deadline), a student who wishes to withdraw from the externship course must obtain permission from the Assistant Dean for Experiential Education <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">or her designee<\/span>. The Assistant Dean will grant such withdrawal requests only when remaining enrolled in the course would cause significant hardship for the student. A student who is granted permission to withdraw will be withdrawn from both the seminar and fieldwork components, with a corresponding \u201cW\u201d transcript notation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students may drop the J.D.
