Amy Wind is owner and principal mediator of Fair Wind Resolutions, a private conflict resolution and prevention practice. Previously, she served as Chief Circuit Mediator for the D.C. Circuit from 2008-2017, where she was responsible for the mediation programs of the U.S. Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. A former trial lawyer with a dozen years of litigation experience, she had a full-time, bilingual private mediation practice for 15 years prior to joining the Court. Professor Wind earned a B.A. from Scripps College and a J.D. from U.C. Hastings College of the Law, and taught mediation for nearly a decade at George Washington University Law School.
