Danny Lutz is a Staff Attorney for The Humane Society of the United States, focusing on administrative advocacy and litigation to improve the lives of animals used in food production. He previously worked for two years as a Staff Attorney and Clinic Teaching Fellow for the environmental section of the Institute for Public Representation, the environmental law clinic at Georgetown. Before his stint at the Institute for Public Representation, Professor Lutz was a Litigation Fellow at the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Prior to law school, he worked in Colorado on large-scale environmental cleanups, and in Madagascar on biodiversity preservation projects. Born and raised in the Rocky Mountains, Professor Lutz has spent much of his adult life on the East Coast, receiving a B.A. from Tufts University, a J.D. from New York University School of Law, and an LL.M from Georgetown University Law Center.
