Jeffery Y. Zhang is an Attorney in the Federal Reserve’s Legal Division, where he works on banking regulatory matters as well as the Federal Reserve’s emergency lending facilities. Previously, he was an Economist in the Special Projects Unit of the Federal Reserve’s Division of Supervision and Regulation, where he worked on domestic rulemakings, international regulatory coordination, and policy research projects.

Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, Professor Zhang served as a Staff Economist at the White House Council of Economic Advisers from 2012 to 2013, focusing on energy and macroeconomics.

He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, his economics Ph.D. from Yale University, and his undergraduate degree from Boston College.
