Professor Kuney has been with the law firm of Williams & Connolly since 1981, where he has been involved in a broad range of civil and criminal antitrust matters. He served as staff attorney in the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice. Professor Kuney also was special assistant to Alfred E. Kahn, then President Carter's Special Advisor on Inflation, in which position he focused on competition and antitrust policy as related to a variety of industries, particularly telecommunications.
