Leslie Wood Bradenham is an attorney with Cochran Allan LLC in Tysons Corner, Virginia. She focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, federal transfer taxation, and charitable giving, assisting clients and their advisers in developing comprehensive estate plans. Herexperience includes drafting various estateplanning documents; counseling regarding gift, estate, and generation skipping transfer tax issues; and the employment of various planning vehicles, such as dynastic trusts, insurance trusts, GRATs, and sales to intentionally defective grantor trusts, to attain wealth planning and business succession objectives.
Prior to joining Cochran Allan, Leslie was an attorneyin the Private Wealth group of Baker Hostetler LLP in Washington, D.C. She has also worked as an attorneyat Alston & Bird LLP in the firm’sWashington, D.C., and Atlanta, Georgia, offices. Before entering private practice, she clerked for the Honorable James P. Jones of the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. She earned her LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center as a Graduate Tax Scholar, with distinction, her J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law, summa cum laude, and her B.S. in Commerce (Accounting Concentration) from the University of Virginia, with distinction.
