Elizabeth L. Loeb is an Adjunct Professor of Law. She teaches a seminar for those students in the J.D. Externship Program who are placed in environmental practices. Professor Loeb is Senior Counsel with the Environmental Enforcement Section (EES) of the Environment and Natural Resources Division at the Department of Justice, an office she has been with for twenty-one years. At EES, she manages federal and state agency enforcement teams in complex civil environmental enforcement cases for pollution control and cleanup of hazardous waste sites to negotiated or litigated resolution. Professor Loeb has received multiple awards for her work. In 2005, Professor Loeb was awarded a Fulbright teaching grant to teach U.S. Environmental Law and International Environmental Law at the National Law School of India University, located in Bangalore, India. Professor Loeb graduated with Order of the Coif from New York University School of Law where she was the Developments Editor of the New York University Law Review. She is also a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
