His practice is highly focused on securities and commodity enforcement, litigation, arbitration and compliance counseling. He routinely represents clients in civil litigation, arbitration and regulatory investigations and enforcement actions of the SEC, CFTC, NASD, and other regulators. He counsels clients on securities and commodity law compliance, including registration, disclosure, internal controls and trading rules, and public companies in listing and delisting proceedings of the national securities exchanges. Professor Mills is a member of the American Bar Association's Litigation and Business Law Sections, and the Federal Regulation of Securities Committee and is the Chair of the Derivatives and Futures Law Committee. He has also served in the Office of the General Counsel and the Office of Hearings and Appeals of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
