Jennifer Overall is an attorney, coach and instructor who is passionate about offering professionals in high-intensity fields the opportunity to re-think how they show up at work and, ultimately, reconnect with their core values and soulfulness in all areas of their lives. Professor Overall spent nearly 6 years in private practice at large law firms serving as counsel to financial services companies in securitizations, corporate finance and M&A transactions. As a coach, she uses theory and techniques from multiple streams - adult learning and development, somatics, positive psychology - to support professionals in uncovering and living into an authentic, fulfilling and generative way of being in and experiencing their lives (including their work). She also designs and teaches courses to young lawyers heading into law firm careers, on how to build a foundation for long-term success in private practice - with agency and without burnout.
Professor Overall received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2012. While at GULC, Professor Overall was a law fellow in the Legal Research and Writing Program, and member of the Appellate Advocacy Division of Barrister’s Council. She received her B.A. from Wheaton College in 2005.
