Ana Reyes, the Co-Chair of the firm’s International Litigation practice group, focuses her practice on complex litigation and international arbitration. She has handled matters for foreign governments, foreign officials, multi-national corporations, and international organizations, representing clients conducting business throughout North and South America, Europe and Africa. Professor Reyes has also devoted a substantial portion of her practice to pro bono work, representing refugee organizations and refugees seeking asylum in the United States. Along with her admissions to Bars of the United States, Professor Reyes is listed on the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales. In 2017, Professor Reyes was named as the D.C. Women’s Bar Association’s Woman Lawyer of the Year in recognition of her international litigation practice and for her efforts in representing the rights of those seeking asylum in the United States. She has also been named by The National Law Journal in its Outstanding Women Lawyers list, which recognized “the 75 most accomplished female attorneys working in the legal profession today” (2015), as one of “D.C.’s Rising Stars” (2014), and one of the top 40 minority lawyers under 40 in the country (2011). In 2009, Legal Times selected Professor Reyes as a “Champion” in its Champions, Visionaries & Pioneers special section.
