Roscoe Jones, Jr. is the Legislative Director to Senator Dianne Feinstein, where he oversees her legislative staff and manages her legislative agenda. Previously, he was Senior Counsel to Senator Cory Booker and Senior Counsel on the Senate Judiciary Committee for Senator Patrick Leahy. At the Justice Department, he was Special Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Appellate Attorney in the Civil Rights Division, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Columbia, and Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Western District of Washington.

Professor Jones earned a B.A. from Stanford University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy & Law. He clerked for the Honorable Carl E. Stewart on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Honorable Alexander Williams, Jr. on the District Court of Maryland. He is an adjunct professor at George Washington University Law School and taught at the University of Washington Law and Evans Schools. A Stennis Fellow, Wasserstein Fellow, and Murnaghan Fellow, he has been published in the Harvard Law & Policy Review.
