B.A., State University of New York-Binghamton; J.D., Boston College; Graduate, Stonier School of Banking, Rutgers University. Professor Whiting is Executive Director of the American Association of Bank Directors and former Executive Director and General Counsel of The Financial Services Roundtable. His experience in the banking field includes previous positions as General Counsel to the Association of Bank Holding Companies and Senior Attorney to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Professor Whiting clerked for Judge Albert V. Bryan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He was a faculty member at the American Institute of Banking, an adjunct faculty member at Boston College Law School, and has served on the faculty of numerous professional conferences. In 2009, he was elected Chairman of the Board of Advisors of the Center for Finance, Law & Policy, Boston University School of Law.
