Unlike state criminal laws, federal criminal laws have jurisdictional requirements and generally have more complex components. It is typically these unique aspects of federal criminal laws that the Supreme Court considers.\u00a0Yet in two recent decisions,\u00a0<i>Rosemond v. United States\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0<i>Burrage v.
