Instead of \u201cIt was the best of times, it was the worst of times,\u201d the first few words of <em>A Tale of Two Cities<\/em> might have read:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>It was the worst of times, the absolute worst of times. It was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Darkness, it was the winter of despair.
